A Minimal Spring Wardrobe Refresh

a mindful approach to a new season

Well, hello there, happy Tuesday!

No books today, because we’re talking about CLOTHES! This Kindle Unlimited series is where my eyes and ears have been blissfully buried for the past few days though ~ light, summery, sweet.

You’re all probably well aware now of my decision to buy fewer new clothes, and I’m really proud of how well I have done with this as winter turned to spring. It definitely helps that I really like so much of my existing wardrobe, and crucially, that things still fit from last year.

One thing that I have accepted I will continue to buy new on an as-needed basis is socks, underwear and workout clothes ~ fit for these is so incredibly important for my comfort, and the fabrics are so expensive and hard to work with that it just doesn’t make sense to make them myself right now. Also, these aren’t things that I tend to thrift.

Here’s what I have added to my wardrobe over the past month-ish as the weather turned and I packed away my sweaters, cords and boots:
