Well hello there, it’s Tuesday again!

I’m popping in today to share a book I read last week on a complete whim upon getting a publisher email that assured me this would be THE book of 2026. I usually feel on at least somewhat on top of book news, so I was perplexed to realize I hadn’t even heard of the title before this. BUT, then I saw the plot and was like, hell yeah, I’m in ~ let’s see what the fuss is all about.

And friends, it was worth it.

PLEASE NOTE, though: this is a book you MUST avoid any and all spoilers for before reading! While you wait to read it, don’t let yourself get in very deep reading reviews and analysis. I’m sharing zero spoilers here.
