A Bookish Time Capsule: June 2025
83 backlist book recommendations

Hello there! Happy Tuesday!
It’s time for … June’s Bookish Time Capsule!
For the third month now, I am sharing books that I read and loved that month in past years, some months going all the way back to 2015. This serves you with more backlist book recommendations to request from the library or find at used bookshops, and gives me a chance to mine my reading archives for those gems I want to savor again. Win - win!
June, as a reading month, has proven to be NEXT LEVEL. Meaning that there are 83 BOOKS on this list. Wait, what? I had so much fun visiting the books I loved in Junes past, and simply couldn’t leave any of these off the list. Because there are SO MANY BOOKS, I created a PDF for you in addition to the exclusive Bookshop collection. I hope you enjoy perusing the books have that brought me so much joy in June over the past 10 years!

I love these time capsules! It makes me want to put together my own just to see what patterns and themes emerge from year to year in that month. So fun!
I'm so happy you're enjoying them, Michelle! I shouldn't have been surprised by how many more books I loved from June, but WOW, there sure were! It's fun to look back and remember how I was influenced to choose what I chose each of these years and which books were memorable and which weren't.
