Occasionally I will pull events and thought pieces from my Instagram stories over here because I don’t love that stories disappear. I want to be able to write more deeply about them and give them a permanent home.

On November 15, 2022, two momentous events occurred in my life, but I didn’t realize how momentous either of them were until afterwards.

Let’s start with the pre-dawn event that has rocked my world ever since.
