Shedding Ineffective Beliefs
How quickly can we move beyond what holds us back?
We all have beliefs, opinions, and habits. Some help us move forward, but others hold us back: like anchors slowing us down.
How quickly can we move beyond what's no longer useful?
When we can move decisively past our ineffective beliefs ( and opinions, and habits), we get to:
- Keep growing: Obsolete, unhelpful behavior patterns stop us from learning and doing impactful work.
- Adapt to change: Shedding old approaches helps us adjust more easily when circumstances change.
- Act more freely: When we free ourselves from what hinders us, we can engage with the world more readily.
- Support our work: A strong work ethic means steady progress. Discarding roadblocks helps this.
Learning to quickly move past what's not useful is a skill. It helps us live with more intention and focus on what truly matters.
What's one unhelpful belief, opinion, or habit you could step away from, even in a small way, today?
