DeFraction House Rules
Brrrrr, .
Kelly Sue here. Short and sweet this week as we're both slammed.
Okay, so, YES WE SAW we got nominated by a few of you for the Ice Bucket Challenge. We know you're supposed to do it within 24 hours, but there's just too much going on between deadlines, prep for DragonCon and getting the kids ready for the start of school to do it today. We'll do it when I get back from Atlanta and we'll be making a matching donation to the Legal Defense Fund for Justice for Mike Brown. If you have the means, maybe you'll do the same.
(This stupid meme has raised in excess of $94 million dollars to help fight Lou Gehrig's disease. If you're tempted to sneer at something because it's gone viral and you're of the mind that everything that's popular is shit, I dunno. Maybe think about what $94 million dollars might do?)

Title: Geek Girls Run Fun Run
Description: The 2nd annual GGR DCon Fun Run!
Kick off your Dragon Con by joining other Geek Girls on Friday morning for a short run around downtown Atlanta!
Distance: Approximately 2 miles: up to Olympic Park and back.
Where: Meet in front of the Marriott (between the Marriott & the Hyatt) by the northern lion sculpture. It'll be hard to miss us - we'll be dressed up in running costumes (TBD). Feel free to come in a costume, or not - whatever you're comfortable running in in the August Atlanta weather.
We'll start out in different pace groups, but all stick around at the finish to cheer each other on. Run (or walk) at the pace you feel comfortable. We will not leave you behind! The most important thing will be to HAVE FUN!
Here's the route!
