Eugene v1.42: redesigned flags, tuplet fix, and a Poinçon beta call

Eugene v1.42: redesigned flags, tuplet fix, and a Poinçon beta call

Hi everyone,

Three updates this round.

Redesigned 8th note flags

The stem-down flag in particular has bothered me since I first drew it. It's now been reworked to match the Fromont engravings I use as reference. Feedback welcome — reply to this email or write to [email protected]. More flag revisions are planned later this month.

v1.42 patch notes. The improved tuplet number glyphs from v1.41 (Eugene) have been ported to Eugene Text, where they were previously missing. A 16th-note metronome mark glyph has also been added.

Poinçon beta test. Poinçon, the Sibelius-compatible sister font to Eugene, now has a page: https://mikkopatama.com/poinconfont/. Current build is 0.81. If you use Sibelius, or know someone who does, testing and forwarding the link would help.
