Captain's log
February was a great month for me! I got time to work, I made videos I was excited about – I simply enjoyed life and work as one should.
Today as I am writing this newsletter, I feel very happy that it is getting brighter outside in the mornings and evenings, as the middle of the winter is so very dark here in Sweden. I am happy that spring is approaching and that I can soon start doing insect macro photography again. I am excited about it being only 2-3 months until my daughter starts kindergarten, which means I will have basically double the time to work on my photography and youtube videos.
At the same time I am sad and worried about the war in Ukraine, and I hope that it can come to an end very soon. I have never witnessed such a big war so close to my home before, and between two countries I have visited not long ago.
During February I shot some lego figures, I identified the three steps that need to be taken if you want to live off your photography, I gave myself a black & white photography challenge and I made a tool to help my followers pick the right Laowa Macro Lens for them! For my Patreon supporters, I made a video summarizing everything I learned in my first 6 months of selling Photography NFTs.
