hello all! i had a great time at St. Pete Zine Fest, and i hope i saw you!
i had a great time, and saw so many familiar faces! i made a new mini zine for the fest, all about foraging edible plants in florida! which can be found on my patreon (click here to see) for digi-downloads (and higher) members or for sale to print unlimited copies.
since i used to live in the area but no longer do, it was so nice to see so many people i haven’t seen in forever. it left me feeling grateful and reflective.
the last 2 years have been a rollercoaster, having moved my entire life to a new city not by choice, but by financial force. even though at the time i felt angry and resentful, i have moved to find the pros in what has happened to me. i am a different person because of it: i’m learning to practice discernment, i have picked up farming as a career path and i have a stable place to call home that is closer to family.
it was difficult to make friends at first, but i am feeling more at home now that i have put myself out there a little bit more. i’m practicing doing things even if i feel scared!
ANTi issue 9 is out for sale now!
