Book Review: Modernizing Drupal 10 Theme Development
I just finished reading Modernizing Drupal 10 Theme Development published by Packt Publishing by Luca Lusso. Don't let the title make you think it is about theme development. The book provides excellent coverage of general Drupal knowledge, so much so that I highly recommend this book as a go-to resource for any frontend or full-stack developer new to Drupal.
Tips & tricks
Use cognitive dissonance to trick yourself into reaching goals and stop procrastinating. Or, use it to understand and rationalize some of your actions.
I was listening to the Outsmarting Yourself episode of Hidden Brain, and they talked about using cognitive dissonance as a way to achieve goals. By telling someone else that you will do something, you are more likely to complete your goals so that you don't look like a hypocrite in front of your peers.
Note: Outsmart Yourself is the second episode of a two-part series on cognitive dissonance.
This week's live stream
I figured out why OBS was choppy, it was due to my webcam of all things. I was able to get back on stream and worked on phpstan-drupal this week.
