15th Mailing
For today’s mailing I had intended to share with you an important and interesting essay by Samuel Moyn, a distinguished Yale scholar, about his views on the implications for American society of a growing elderly population.
That mailing will need to wait for Friday, because on Monday the latest issue of The New Yorker dropped with an obviously very important essay by David Remnick, the Editor-in-Chief, on the forthcoming October election in Israel. My reaction to it was that it was quite accurate, very grim, and very much worth thinking about.
In sharing it, I recognize that some of you will already have seen it. If that is the case, I apologize for cluttering your inbox. For those who have it not seen it yet, I recommend that you move it to the top of your “to read” pile. If you do so, you will not regret it.
