okay boomer

(The last class sold out and this one will too, just sayin') Improv for Introverts Special buddy system deal: Enroll two people at once and save $50! Wednesdays 7-9 pm February 18 – March 25 2008 Justin Lane ATX
An appropriately sized image (I HOPE)

So last time I asked for people to send in testimonials and they did (thank you, it really means a lot) and when some of them replied to the email I was HORRIFIED to see that the images I had used were so big that they blew out the margins of the email, necessitating the dreaded horizontal scrolling to read the message.

One reason I was so upset by this is that I think of this as a particularly obvious old-person thing to do? It’s not that I’m in denial about being old, it’s that I don’t want to be making the same dumb obvious old-person mistakes as everyone else. I want my old-person mistakes to be intriguing and eccentric, hinting at a rich and complex inner life. Instead I’ve just turned into my dad, blithely spamming his address book with absurdly panoramic anti-Trump memes. (Sorry, Dad.)

ANYWAY the buddy system promotion is in effect for the Improv for Introverts class that starts next week, so now’s a good time to dismantle your paralyzing fear of improv class using the power of friendship. I’m also offering a similar deal for the Improv for RPGs workshop March 7th.

Mercury Improv's Improv for RPGs: Learn improv techniques to take you gameplay to the next level. 10 am – 1 pm Saturday March 7th, 2008 Justin Lane ATX $90 (or sign up with a friend for $150!) For absolute beginners, no experience necessary mercuryimprov.com
Another image whose size does not immediately reveal the age of the sender

I should point out that the RPG class is really just a three-hour workshop on how to create and develop a character in real time; you don’t need any understanding of roleplaying games. Like it says, no experience necessary in either improv or RPGs.

Okay, that’s it for now. I hope to see you in one of these!

Till then,
John
