mercury monthly returns

A photograph of a bicycle that's been deconstructed into its many constituent parts (all the way down to taking the chain apart), with the resulting pieces laid out in an aesthetically appealing manner against a white background. I like this image because a bike is a good metaphor for improv but it also speaks to the danger of trying to analyze something that's not rational: you risk destroying everything about it that made you want to analyze it in the first place. Anyway, come to Mercury Monthly, I promise the bike will still be rideable.
A deconstructed bike is probably a terrible metaphor for a class about improv, because after you take it apart you can’t ride it anymore

Hey all, just a reminder that this month’s edition of Mercury Monthly is next Tuesday, so if you’ve taken an intro level class from me and want to get back into it, hop on that (like a bike, get it?).

And the next session of Improv for Introverts starts Wednesday June 25th, so if you’ve been waiting for the sign from heaven that it’s time to finally take an improv class … consider this your sign.

That’s it. Please tell people about these classes! And as always, let me know if you have questions, concerns, or ideas about Mercury Improv. (This is a sincere invitation! I’d love to hear what you have to say.)

Thanks,
John
