free class: spread the word
Hey friends, my main job right now is filling the upcoming Improv for Introverts section and so I’m also promoting the last free class of the summer. It’s the best way to convince people they’re not going to die if they do an improv scene, but the challenge is getting people in the room in the first place. Any help getting the word out is much appreciated.
When I first started Mercury the original idea was to offer all kinds of different introductory classes pitched to different demographics: Improv for Writers, Improv for (Recovering) Alcoholics, etc., and that’s still the long-term plan. Let me know if you think there’s a group of people who might benefit from a targeted improv class. (Some students have already convinced me that Improv for Dungeons and Dragons would be popular.)
Also, some of you told me that I should include videos in these emails but I just tried to add my latest Instagram Reel and it’s too big. It was a good idea, though!
