east side invasion + mercury monthly

The Pamela Colman Smith illustration of the Three of Cups card from the Smith-Waite Tarot deck, depicting three women in flowing robes or dresses raising goblets to one another and dancing in a circle, or I guess a triangle. This card is usually interpreted pretty straightforwardly as meaning joy and friendship within a group. There's also the implication that this is some kind of Dionysian ritual and that the dancing is going to develop into something crazier after the moment captured on the card.

It’s here! Next Monday (8/18) we plant the Mercury Improv flag on the east side, continuing on our path to world domination. The new session of Improv for Introverts will be happening at the Genesis Creative Collective at 1507 Wilshire Blvd., just east of I-35 and across from Mueller. If you’re on the east side, this is just a straight shot up Airport or I-35, easy peasy.

Then on Tuesday (8/19) there’s another installment of Mercury Monthly, for those of you who have completed Improv for Introverts (or a different introductory class) and would like to get back in the pool. We’ve already got a good group for this one but it would be even better if you were in it.

And then next month on Wednesday September 10th we’ll be premiering the fall line of Improv for Introverts, back at our by-now-classic Justin Lane location.

Consider yourself marketed to. Come take a class!

Till then,
John
