Aus Tour Kicks Off Now!
Hello hello you beauties.
Mel here. Just writing to let you know that the Australian tour of my brand new show kicks off tonight!
First up is Perth. Boorloo friends, where you at?! We open tonight. And then we’re off to Adelaide Fringe before normal-ing the hell outta Melbourne at the Comedy Fest.
Dates and deets and ticket links below!

I’ll also be doing a few other (less normal) shows on this tour too, including a limited run of MOTORBOAT in Perth, my duo show with Vidya Rajan, GREG, in Adelaide, and I am co-hosting a social deduction panel show called MAFIA in Adelaide as well. Plus lots of spots and line up shows! Keep an eye on my insta for updates on those as they pop up.
And if you don’t live in Perth, Adelaide or Melb… maybe consider sending this to someone who does? I’m being a bit cheeky, but word of mouth is so crucial for us independent fringe artists so every bit helps.

A bit about the new show: Mel McGlensey is NORMAL is a show where the audience gets to decide which bits Mel performs. They are encouraged, however, to only select the most normal bits as Mel must be normal for an entire hour of comedy if she is to escape the simulation. Can she do it? Not without your help!
The show is a collaboration with videogame designer Douglas Wilson, who custom-coded all the software we use in the show. It’s pretty cool, if I may say so myself! It also was recently nominated for the Best Comedy Award at Melbourne Fringe. Come check it out!
Also, check out this cool article ABC did on clowning featuring some quotes by yours truly.
