Do you ever find a particularly pretty leaf and you carry it with you for a block? Just because you want to appreciate how magical it is that nature can create that shade of red?

Not many writing updates, at least fictional writing. I spent some time researching for the Nov 4 election. (I hope everyone checked out their local candidates and initiatives!)

Fall means wrapping up the garden. All of my pumpkins have survival scars this year. The bunnies ate the okra seedlings. Mysterious marauders destroyed a couple pumpkins. Weeds took over my herbs. I’ve learned my lesson: more weed control and fencing.
