If you are doing any form of marketing at all, make sure you rank for the keyphrases around that marketing. If you are in Australia you maybe familiar with the Sensis annoying "look at me" ad. Ironically that video is quite difficult to find online. That is just one example though of an offline campaign neglecting search. Any marketing campaign will affect search volumes and I've got the data to prove it.
