Back in May when Google made changes to the how the search results appear in other cities, we noticed that the ranking report software we were using was not accurately reporting some rankings. As we check these daily, we noticed the discrepancies pretty quickly.
That is when we switched to a cloud based reporting service called Serpscan. As we monitor thousands of keywords in multiple cities globally we required a cloud based service. I had been pretty happy with their service up until the last week.
You may have noticed that ranking data has not been updated in the Serpscan ranking report for the last few days. We have been requesting an update from our supplier but have yet to hear anything back. In the meantime we are investigating other options. I apologise for the inconvenience and will give you an update as soon I have an alternate solution or Serpscan is fixed.
