Convenience stores are aplenty these days, usually chain stores with bright lights and the promise of fresh produce. In contrast, the "mom & pop" sundry stores pale in comparison, their only remaining hope would be their relationship to the community.
It is human to want connection, but our attention span has been shortened into impatience as time goes by.
How is it that we are quick to forget, and quick to lament but we aren't quick to put a stop to something our heart tells us is so dear?
