Reminder: MI Workshop at NeurIPS 2025 Submission Deadline Tomorrow (Aug 22 AoE)
Hi everyone,
This is a final reminder that the submission deadline for the Mechanistic Interpretability (MI) Workshop at NeurIPS 2025 is just over 24 hours away. The deadline is Friday, August 22, 2025 (Anywhere on Earth).
All details regarding submission length, formatting, and topics of interest can be found on our Call for Papers page. Submissions should be made through this OpenReview link. This deadline will not be extended.
As you finalize your work, we want to highlight a few key points from our call for papers:
Expanded Scope: We welcome any work that furthers our ability to understand models, even in unconventional ways. Beyond standard empirical work, this includes rigorous replications, critiques, open-source tools, datasets, educational materials, and position pieces.
On Claims and Limitations: Works that clearly document their strengths and weaknesses are welcomed, even if conclusions remain inconclusive. Works that downplay or omit significant limitations will not be accepted.
Reproducibility: We strongly encourage you to open-source any code, models, and data. Papers will be evaluated for reproducibility, and providing resources to support this is highly valued. We recommend using services like anonymous.4open.science to share code anonymously.
