I saw Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma last week, and damn WHAT A MOVIE! I loved it! Smarter people than me will write about why it works and the layered allegories, but I thought it whipped and Hannah Einbinder was hot as hell!
The music drops in the movie rule, but I have had Donna Lewis’s “I Love You Always Forever” stuck in my head since last Tuesday. Great song.
I also finally listened to the new Phoebe Bridgers album, and I did like everyone else, cry. My top song is “Kill Me.”
I’m addicted to the oil & vinegar store in the Italian market, but my newest find is the HICKORY dark balsamic which I have been marinating chicken thighs in and then grilling them. I cannot recommend this enough.
I finished reading Carry Me Home. Absolute banger. Now I understand why no one will shut up about it.
Everyone has been so mad at my beautiful idiot terrible son Alec Bohm for months now. But he had a good weekend and I remain proud of him.
I watched the 2021 movie Petit Maman this week. I found it so lovely and affecting and it made me miss every child I’ve ever known.
