Hi everyone,

I owe you a quick update — I missed two weekends of publishing and this Monday’s email, and there’s a very good reason for it.

His name is Rocky.
He’s three months old.
He has opinions, oversized paws, and zero fear of church stairs.

Rocky is the newest addition to the Justice Alliance SAR Team, and he’s been keeping me on my toes since last Saturday. In one week he has:

• challenged a German Shepherd twice his size

• tried to enter a river

• discovered a favorite chestnut

• learned how to calm himself down when he gets too wound up

He’s playful, stubborn, brilliant, and already showing the instincts of a future SAR partner.

I’ll be back to publishing soon — thank you for your patience while I adjust to life with a tiny tornado in training.
