Leadership update and May 16th Crime‑Resilient Community Building Event (copy)

GRRB is a dynamic regional civic briefing platform with bite‑size daily micro‑updates that reflect the community’s heartbeat

Dear Friends of Minnesota,

I am writing to share an important leadership update and to extend a formal invitation to our upcoming Crime‑Resilient Community Building Event in Little Falls. This update directly supports our shared regional priorities around coordination, prevention, and long‑term public safety‑health.

Effective immediately, I have resigned from my former role as USIDHR Regional Director for Minnesota and am now fully focused on building the JUSTICE ALLIANCE, our local Crime‑Resilient & Restorative Justice Community Model Development Team based here in Little Falls. This transition is a strategic step to strengthen local leadership capacity and accelerate the 2026 regional objectives that require cross‑sector alignment.

The Justice Alliance initiative is designed to improve coordination across agencies and community partners, reduce preventable vulnerabilities, and reinforce long‑term safety‑health across the region. Our approach centers on restorative justice, prevention culture, and education as a stabilizing force for community resilience.

As part of this transition, The Justice Alliance is preparing to hire an Executive CEO to lead our Minnesota office and carry forward the 2026 objectives with the continuity, operational discipline, and statewide coordination this work requires.

If you are receiving this message, you are formally invited to participate in the May 16th Crime‑Resilient Community Building Event at the Carnegie Library Conference Room. This session will focus on aligning regional priorities, identifying coordination needs, and strengthening the shared prevention infrastructure that supports civic operations across the Great River communities.

RSVP is required. Please confirm your attendance by replying directly to: info@justicelabcenter.org.
