Kirby course update 1
Hello there,
It's me, Maurice. You signed up because you were interested in my Kirby blog course. Well, first of all, thank you very much for your interest!
I just wanted to give you a brief update on the progress.
I am happy that I can tell you I can look at a working Kirby blog on my local machine here. And I was able to enable two people to create their own blogs using my guide. I am currently writing on the more advanced stuff, like virtual pages for blogrolls, adding plugins for comments, and even writing a custom plugin.
This will still need some time, especially with the current madness going on with all those security issues out there. As a developer, this occupies a lot of my time lately, but that's another topic.
I am confident that I can start recording the videos soon. I have a pretty good workflow for this, as I did this before, so fingers crossed.
But I am considering doing a step-by-step release, meaning to first publish the course as a text-only course for early-access users and then later add the videos.
I am curious what you think about that. Would that be a viable option for you? Or would you rather wait for the videos and for me to then publish everything at once? Looking forward to hearing from you!
All the best, Maurice

I always prefer a written guide to a video, so I’m voting for early release. However I also know people that prefer to have both simultaneously, so I can understand both choices. Video only isn’t it for me, I’ve tried multiple and none stuck.

Hi, are there any previews available for the text-only releases? I've only used Udemy before, so it would be great to see what a text-only course looks like. Also, is there any information regarding the course's price?
