Loneliness is optional
Being alone is no easy task.
This might not seem like a problem. After all, when are we truly alone?
With all the noise we can hide (or lose) who we truly are. We choose to be around others, bury ourselves in work, seek dopamine, obsess, strive, and fear.
But we don't take time to sit and listen. When we're forced into quiet, we realize:
Being alone is no easy task.
If we come to terms with who we are, we come to terms with ourselves in the absence of "other."
- Loneliness is to be alone with discomfort,
- Solitude is to be alone with comfort.
& that a the choice we face every day.
