Five ^H^H^H^H Six ^H^H^H SEVEN things make a post!
Hello! Happy almost-Autumn!
I have… a LOT going on right now. And I am here to share it with you as briefly as possible.
Item the First:

(You can listen wherever you usually get your podcasts, or follow the link above.)
Item the Second:
A couple of years ago Scott Lynch and I were interviewed along with a cast of other fantasists for an independent documentary film called Fantasy Rising, produced and directed by Tom O’Dell. A survey of the history, development, and popularization of the Fantasy genre, I think many fans and readers will find it interesting.
It’s currently in edits for a televised release in the UK, and there is also a Kickstarter for either digital copies or Blu-Ray that you can own. It was a very fun interview, and I have high hopes for the film!
You can support the Kickstarter here!

Item the Third:

I will be at Dragon Con in Atlanta from August 28th-Sept 1st! I will be appearing on a couple of panels and will be available for signing and schmoozing! Scott will be coming with me as well.

My novel The Folded Sky is nominated for a Dragon Award for Best Science Fiction Novel!
Anyone may vote, and you may register for a ballot by clicking on this link! If you have registered for a ballot and not yet received it, you probably need to opt-in to receiving emails at Survey Monkey.
Item the Fourth:
The Folded Sky is currently available in e-book for 99p or equivalent in most UK and European markets! Check your local Kobo, Amazon, etc store for details. This deal is, I believe, ending soon, so here’s your chance to get in on the ground floor (of the space elevator*).

Item the Fifth:
I will be appearing with the remarkable Vivian Shaw, author of the delightful Greta Helsing supernatural medical detective novels, in a rare East Coast appearance at Odyssey Books in South Hadley, Massachusetts at 7 PM on September 11th. Event Signup Page here! Doors open at 6:30 pm!
Item the Sixth:

Angel Maker: A Karen Memory Adventure is available for pre-order and will be available via all the usual retailers (I sincerely hope) on September 2nd in e-book, audiobook, and paperback. The audiobook is once again narrated by the incomparable Jennifer Grace, who is absolutely the Voice of Karen Memory as far as I am concerned. Audible appears to have gotten their database issue sorted out and you should be able to pre-order from them now. Please do pre-order, especially from your local bookstore. Or, if you would like a signed and personalized copy, please do pre-order from my local bookstore, the abovementioned Odyssey Books! (They have a special page set up, and you can also order any of my other in-print titles from them. I will be happy to sign and personalize and they will be happy to ship!)
Item the Seventh:
I will be a guest on Writer’s Block hosted by Megan Zinn on WHMP (101.5 FM / 1400 AM Northampton, Massachusetts) on September 8th. It will also be available as a podcast after the fact!
…I have the uneasy concern that I have forgotten something. But that’s seven, I counted.
Phew!
Hope to see some of you in some of these places! And if you made it this far:
Best,
Bear
