Short story panel video and other delights
The Braille Institute has made available video of a panel I did on short stories with Nate Kurth of the BI and two absolutely amazing writers, Tananarive Due (THE REFORMATORY, out now, is a fucking tour de force) and Jendayi Brooks-Flemister (I particularly liked this story at Lightspeed of theirs).
This was part of their summer reading series. This week, they’re doing The Parable of the Sower by the inimitable Octavia Butler, and next week they are reading the wonderful This is How You Lose the Time War by friends of the newsletter and all-around thoughtful geniuses Amal El-Mohtar and Max Gladstone.
There will also be a panel on Romance featuring Mary Robinette Kowal, Sarah Wendell, and Gabe Cole Novoa.
