Really most sincerely tired.
4th Street Fantasy is done for another year, and—as is usual for a convention I help run—in the immediate aftermath, I am so tired I can about feel my brain emitting a random humming noise.
The rest of the month is going to be devoted to revising Machine and getting a bunch of other work done, including answering some questions for this newsletter and writing my monthly chapter of fiction advice for Patreon. I also just sent back the page proofs for “Erase, Erase, Erase,” which is going to be in the October issue of F&SF.
And this has been published: “Soft Edges,” in the new free anthology Ocean Stories, from the X-Prize folks.
Right now, though, I think I’m just going to lie down for a while.
