Quiet out there. Too quiet.
Hey, folks,
So my radiation burns have nearly healed (just a couple of small scabs left, three and a half weeks after finishing treatment, and no oozy peeling wounds). I cannot adequately express how pleasant that is, but I bet you can imagine.
It’s that part of winter here in Southern New England where we get bits of spring sandwiched in between all of the White Queen’s worst, and the lows for the current fortnight range between forty degrees and nine degrees Fahrenheit. The highs range between 20 and 60. Hard to get used to this weather, but today was lovely, if muddy, and I managed to go for a short run.
I’ve been trying to re-establish my work routine. The last couple of weeks of treatment and the first couple of weeks of recovery were not great for getting anything requiring concentration accomplished. But I’m trying to prioritize more exercise, reading, work, music, friends… and less waiting for the internet to change.
