No Sleep Til Brookline
Hello, friends!
A brief note to let you know what’s going on!
First, a public appearance: I’ll be at the Brookline Booksmith in Brookline MA on Friday at 7 pm with Tochi Onyebuchi and Ken Liu to celebrate the publication of Tochi’s new book, RIOT BABY, which I have so many good things to say about.
My other immediate news is that my Hugo-winning short story “Tideline” has been selected to appear on the Levar Burton Reads podcast this season, which is a Reading Rainbow fan’s dream come true.
Other than that, I’ve just sent back the copy edits for MACHINE, and gotten a peek at the US cover. I think you’ll like it, once I can show it to you. And I’m finishing up edits on a long-awaited novella project that’s still a little bit secret.
Last but not least, I’m in full swing of work on THE ORIGIN OF STORMS, book 3 of the Lotus Kingdoms trilogy, which should be out next year.
Keeping busy as we get a brief visit from Actual Winter in between all the sort-of-like-spring. I hope this finds you well, also.
Best,
Bear
