June and July Book Club! And horse update!

Whew, I have not done as much reading as I wanted to do, either on our travels or since I got home. I’m starting to get a little unstuck from fiction, at least. Brains, they’re not just for breakfast anymore.

Yesterday I went up to Vermont to fetch Ormr home. Magni is staying with the trainer another month to work on building up his topline, which is sorely in need of it. Ormr seems to have moderately strained the ankle he injured back in 2019, so he’s getting handwalked for the time being until the vet can come look at him and probably put him back in physical therapy, sigh. He doesn’t seem badly hurt, just a little short-strided on that leg.
