Hey folks,

I have been falling down on the job. I have not felt discursive, mostly head-down and running as fast as I can, and I have managed to let August and September go by without saying much of anything on the internet.

However! News!

I have a new novella out in the 20th Anniversary edition of Clarkesworld this month!

"The Job" is about a woman with serious self-image issues who takes a contract to survey an alien ocean for corporate exploitation, wearing the body of a bioengineered whale.

I hope you enjoy it!

Best,

Bear
