Horse Stories 8

Well, it's been an interesting week, whereby interesting I mean challenging, but we're all still here and our heads are above water.

I am not sure I'll be riding this week, since there was An Incident involving a package of frozen ground turkey falling out of the freezer and onto my toe. It's not broken, but it's definitely not feeling great, and cramming it into a boot seems like a level of Hell I'm not prepared to wrestle with currently. Especially since I had a medication reaction last week that has left me itchy and queasy while I recover, so I'm feeling pretty sorry for myself TBH.

(I'm fine, we're all fine here, I just feel kinda bad and am taking it easy while I detox.)

Sunday I did liberty work with Ormr, which is his favorite, and Alex suggested teaching him to jump cavalettis, which are a low obstacle on x-shaped legs that can be set at four different heights.
