Before apocalypse, chop wood, carry water...

During apocalypse, cover art still shows up.

As a brief distraction from building a fortress out of ramen noodles, I offer the UK cover art for MACHINE, which I am delighted to share before I crawl back to my page proofs.

I've actually managed to still like this book despite having rewritten it three times, done three sets of edits and copyedits, and now having to read it again in words so familiar and yet unfamiliar that they tend to smear together on the page into a general impression of... the Roman alphabet or something?

And I LOVE this cover.

Available in the US October 6 and the UK October 8th, and I promise as soon as I can I'll get you the US cover!
