Just finished! An idea for this piece came to me in that fleeting moment between dreaming and waking. It always feels like I’m trying to figure out something very important in that moment. I never quite get there, but here is my attempt. I really love how it came together.

I’m traveling to this infamous show in Historic Old Louisville next weekend. I’m told they even close the schools for Friday’s festivities! I’ll have my textile art here.

On My Easel
The change in seasons has inspired me to work on landscapes. I know many of you are excited for more Lake Nokomis paintings - well, this one is on my easel right now. Do you recognize this bridge? It’s the spot where Lake Nokomis and Minnehaha Creek meet. Such a beautiful place to visit in the morning light.
