Upcoming Classes
My next three Sundays will be filled with needle-felting classes!
I hope you’ll join me for one (or more!) because after these three, I’ll be taking a short break from teaching at my studio. Why? Because art fair season is almost upon us!
This Sunday!
Have you already tried needle-felting? Use your previously learned skills and learn a few new tricks in this slightly more advanced-beginner class!
During Part 1 we'll needle-felt a snail and during Part 2 we'll needle-felt a mushroom and then arrange our sculptures into an adorable teacup scene!
Still a beginner but want to join us? If you’re a crafty person, don’t hesitate: sign up!

Needle-felt an adorable ladybug! Decorate it with dots or heart-shaped spots and silly eyes, if you choose. Find out more!

The moment you’ve been practicing for is here! If you've taken at least two of my beginner classes and tried a few projects on your own, this class is for you! We'll forgo the basics and dive right into making an adorable turtle.

“What’s happened to your textile art, Mary?”
That’s a valid question.
Last year I put an enormous effort into showing my textiles. I was so ready to launch my textile art to The Next Level and I gave it everything I had - and more. Sadly, it simply didn’t work. After five grueling shows with major storms, excessive heat, and almost no sales of work that I was desperately underpricing, I was beyond exhausted and I broke down.
It felt like I was forcing something that wasn’t meant to be. I couldn’t do it anymore; I cancelled the remaining shows I had on my schedule and shifted focus to my soft pastel art.
Things suddenly clicked! I started enjoying myself. My art was selling, I had great conversations with interesting people, and everything felt so much easier.
This year, I’ve decided that the universe must be trying to tell me something and I need to listen. Things shouldn’t be so hard. So, I’m taking an extended hiatus from my sewing machine and the making of new textile art. I’m not sure how long.
But! - I still have a large inventory of beautiful textile artwork! I hope you will take a look - and if one speaks to you, add it to your art collection!
