Do Airbnbs change hands?
The title is a rhetorical question, as yes, yes they do. For this newsletter the focus is still on our touristic data work - I’m bringing you the newest analysis me and my friend Bernardo did on Airbnbs that move from one host to a new one, mostly from a small individual owner to an agency.
The analysis focuses on Florence, you can read it here (there’s an interactive map too!):
It is relatively common that a flat/house moves hands, and most likely we’d see the same in every city affected by huge amounts of visitors.

We hope you find it interesting - any feedback is of course welcome. Send it to everyone you know who’s interested on the impact of overtourism on cities!
