We are excited to announce our first speaker of Lent term. It's Cambridge's very own Professor Diane Coyle! Currently co-director of the important Bennett School of Public Policy, Professor Coyle has spent her life doing policy work.
A fellow of the Royal Economic Society as well as the the Royal Arts Society, Professor Coyle has been a key adviser to the Treasury and has served on both the UK's Competition Commission and the BBC's governing body as Vice-Chair.
Her recent work has focused on sustainability, natural capital and social capital. She has also conducted research into replacement measures of GDP and the concept of enoughness.
In honour of her contributions to Economics, Professor Coyle was awarded a CBE in 2018.
