Today's Presidential Elections: Need to Know Information
Hi everyone,
It’s the Marshall Society Presidential Elections today!
Hustings and voting will start at 5PM in the Bowett Room in Queens College. Whoever comes and votes in-person will receive an exclusive Marshall Society tote bag, how exciting!
The two candidates running are Lucas Mordue and Kyle Patel. Please use this link to look at their manifestos, https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1-7LItfhJesHggHlDDKnM5hNjHhSgRSiW?usp=sharing.
The event is hybrid, so you can join by zoom if you so wish instead, https://us02web.zoom.us/j/84202022758?pwd=SndWRGllemNhVDJxTCtVV3I1OWhHQT09.
Voting will begin at around 5:30pm, after we have heard the candidates bring to life their manifestos and taken questions from the audience.
In order to vote, you will have to be a member of the Society.
Means of voting will be a Google Form sent out via our newsletter, which will be sent once the candidates finish their speeches. Voting will then remain open until 11am Saturday 11th March.
If you have any questions, feel free to message the relevant existing committee members. Details can be found on our website at: https://marshallsociety.com/about-us/.
That's it from us for now!
