Roaming through the Gloaming SPECIAL ISSUE: Cover Reveal!

Hello, Roamers! (If I may call you that? Unless you'd prefer Gloamers?)
Although I normally only write to you in even-numbered months, today I have something very exciting to share! First a small piece of news:
THE BONE BRIDES’s publication date has been pushed up a week to September 29th! That’s one week less before you get to meet Nola, Lumi, and temperamental skeleton-bun Jeffrey!
All of which is very cool but also not the reason I have appeared in your inbox today, wearing bells in my hair and my most delighted of grins. No, I am here today because I have been waiting what feels like an eternity to share the stunning cover of THE BONE BRIDES...and today is the day!
Drumroll (or spooky fae music), please!

Not in my wildest imaginings did I ever think I would have a cover this beautiful. I mean, LOOK AT IT! Designer Caitlyn Boyd came up with the idea of depicting Nola and Lumi holding hands while facing forward, and I love the strength of their pose—very “us against the world.” These girls endure so much, but through it all, their love for each other is their ballast. No one does spooky-yet-beautiful like artist Marcela Bolívar. Her art is so glowy—much like the luminescent hand prints Lumi leaves on bones—and moody and (in this case) a little sludgy, since the faeryland of the book is a rather wet place. My favorite detail: skeleton-rabbit Jeffrey, in all his squint-and-you-can-almost-pretend-he’s-cute glory. (He IS kind of cute, right? A little?)
And of course we have to talk about those sprayed edges! They’re exclusive to the first edition of the book and will only be available while supplies last...
...So perhaps you’d like to consider pre-ordering a copy? ;P
