Stuff that happened in April
Welcome back to another monthly edition of this newsletter! Let’s get into what I’ve been working on in April.
JumpHero Season 2
JumpHero officially returned from its hiatus on April 4th! I’ve been so excited for its return, and I’m happy with the reception its getting. This chapter has been so much fun to work on.
Fun fact, the Three Year Anniversary will be next month, May 14, 2024! I got lots of fun stuff planned for that :)

“Bun Head” Released
My newest minicomic, “Bun Head”, also released this past month. This was a great project to work on, and readers are loving it too! If you want a physical copy, there are two left from the original batch! Afterwards, we’ll have to wait some time for another round to print.

I’m back from BICS!
Brooklyn Independent Comics Showcase was incredible!! Thank you C. S. Garcia Martinez for being my table buddy (and also for taking the above photo of me yay)! Check out the cool stuff on their half of the table!
Anyway, everyone at the con was super great, and I hope to do this again and more cons like it next year.
I’m back on Instagram
Speaking of BICS, everyone there asked me if I had an Instagram account. I didn’t…but now I do! I probably won’t use it much, but its here yay https://www.instagram.com/itsmarlenesantos/
I actually used to have another art account on Instagram, but I left because the algorithm was just so awful. Now that I’m back with a new account, I’m gonna try not to care about that as much. Expect this new one to basically just get more of the same art I post to my other accounts.
New Sticker on my Ko-Fi!
It’s Cousin Jungle! From the Katamari series! I had this idea some time ago and I thought it was hilarious to just make him completely transparent to mimic how he looks in the games. Unfortunately, the stickers didn’t come in on time for BICS, but they are readily available to order on my Ko-Fi shop.
