a quick update

I haven’t been feeling well this week, so today’s newsletter will just be a quick update thing.

1.

I recently finished watching Kotaro Lives Alone on Netflix, which I really loved. (I also found it amusing that no one would accuse Yoko of being an idol, as selekeh as he was in this drama.) And I’m now at the end of episode 6 of Never Co-Starring Again, which is just plain fun in a josei manga kind of way. Plus, I’ve always liked watching/reading stories about actors and musicians - all the behind-the-scenes drama, even (or especially?) the unrealistic ones. And now that What Did You Eat Yesterday? is on Netflix MY, I’ll be rewatching it next.

I guess I’m getting into dramas again? I wonder if I should look into downloading Sho-kun’s last drama; I heard it was fun.

Oh, and I watched He’s All That, which was surprisingly not as bad as I thought it would be. I liked that Rachel Leigh Cook’s in it. And Matthew Lillard.

2.

Spent this morning reading Greenwich. It’s one of my favourite books, but I haven’t read it since 2009. I stopped at chapter 4 because our discussion today will be for the first few chapters, but I think otherwise I might have just finished it in one sitting.

I really haven’t been feeling like reading as much, this week. It’s a little frustrating because I have a lot of books I wanted to start on, before I suddenly just didn’t want to do anything anymore.

3.

I’m sort of reviving my old postcard blog, though. I wanted to start sorting through all the paper items in the house, and I figured I might as well start there. And just as well - this is probably going to take months, assuming I continue at it every free time I have. And, just because, I made a corresponding instagram account, where I’ll post all the postcards (eventually) but with less efficient tagging systems. I guess it has the benefit of being a more visual platform, though, so it’s probably okay.

Stay safe!
