Where do I NOT want to be on election night? Home alone refreshing the news on my phone every few minutes.
Where do I WANT to be on election night? Cozy at home with community, sipping tea, sharing gentle space, kindness, warmth, and tea.
Listen: Yes, I’m voting. No, I don’t want to discuss politics on Tuesday night. It’s not an avoidance thing, it’s just a…it’s going to be an extremely charged night in this country and beyond, and I think that gathering in soft space and being TOGETHER is a good idea.
Our fractured world needs more connection.
