snow days and cough medicine
I got carded for Robitussin at Target. I looked at the sales clerk like, “are you serious?” and she said, “well it’s a drug and some people like to indulge.” As a kid I loved the taste of that stuff. Either I matured or they changed the formula. Swigging Robitussin straight out of the bottle to calm the hacking cough you caught from your niece over Christmas does not count as cheating during Dry January, right?
Since a) that’s about the most exciting thing that’s happened recently (other than finally taking the remaining 12 pieces of art to the framing guy, the last step before deciding where on these walls to hang everything, a full three years into this apartment), and b) I’m not all angry or upset about any one thing in particular right now (that’s the only time it’s super easy to write), here’s a bunch of links I’ve bookmarked over the last few weeks.
