2025 Conference wrap-up

Thank you to everyone who made the 2025 Annual Conference a tremendous three days of scholarship and community! It was great to see all the attendees and presenters speaking on the broad range of research in popular and American Culture. Congratulations to all of our award winners, and a special thank you to our DIA award winner, Cherri Gregg! We can't wait to see you next year!

The newest issue of Response is now live!

If you are interested in submitting or encouraging presenters to submit, our submission guidelines are available here.

Response has editorial board openings!

Response is looking for a new Assistant Managing Editor and a new Assistant Production Editor.

The Assistant Managing Editor works to usher articles and features through the review and publication process, including reviewing submissions, finding reviewers, soliciting and editing features, and maintaining internal records.

The Assistant Production Editor ensures that all of our copyedited articles and features are published on our website using our web editor, with attention to detail to formatting and our house style.

Interested applicants should send a short cover letter and CV to response@mapaca.net by Monday, February 9, 2026.
