Hi friends,
I’m “on vacation” – quotation marks because I’m not doing any traveling, just sitting at home as during the rest of this rather shitty year. Not having to work is certainly quite nice, but I can already tell that this time period won’t do much in terms of “recharging my batteries”. The onslaught of exhaustion from dealing with a world that’s breaking apart doesn’t stop because of my vacation schedule. But hey, at least my fridge is now freshly defrosted!
Ice ice, baby! I think there’s room for double the amount of pizza in my freezer now.

Iceland, baby! A photo from four years ago to this day, when I spent my vacation there to distract myself from some bad mojo in my life. I definitely wanna go back some day, it really is breathtakingly beautiful.
A few months ago I came across a fairly new fan-edit of the legendary Alive 2007 recording by Daft Punk, but I rewatched it this week and don’t think I’ve mentioned it here yet. The setlist is basically the same as the official album, so it’s just as brillant as ever, but it’s really cool to get to see the stage and show as well.
