Dear friends of maḳām,

This Friday, ikili will be performing at the inauguration of Eva Mamlok-Platz at the Amerika-Gedenkbibliothek in Kreuzberg. More information here.

Later in the evening, a very exciting new show opens at maḳām. Anna McCarthy will be presenting new work made in Berlin and at Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture this summer. Anna was, in a way, the first recipient of the unofficial maḳām artist residency, and the space has been transformed around the trumpet tree.

It’s been a long pause, come by, I’d love to see you again in Friedenau.

Görüşmek üzere, take care, see you soon x
