👀 Game 5 Recap

Another hard fought game against a tough opponent. We saw a lot of great defense and some very long points, but ultimately weren't able to convert enough on offense. We want to shout out our less experienced handlers who stepped up and had some key completions to get our offense going. We're proud of the effort and engagement we're seeing from this team — it's been really encouraging. That said, we know it can be discouraging to not have a win yet, and we want to acknowledge that. We'll keep working at it, with Spring Reign and playoffs squarely in our sights. Thank you to all the parents for the support and for getting your players to the field — we don't take that for granted!

🏃 Practices

We have two practices before Spring Reign, and that's it — no practice this Friday and no practices during spring break:

🏖️ Mid-Season Break

Spring Reign will be here before we know it! We encourage players to keep their throwing sharp during the break — grab a disc and get outside. The WhatsApp group is a great way to coordinate with teammates, organize a hangout, or get a pickup game going over spring break. Coaches will be out of town, but we can arrange access to discs and cones.

We know the tournament is a larger time commitment with extra expense. We’d love any and all activated players who are interested to make it happen, but families shouldn’t feel obligated.  We do ask that if you're on the activation list, please enter your availability/plans for both Saturday and Sunday in the Player Portal as soon as possible. We need to make sure we have enough coverage across both days — this is especially important for a two-day tournament.

🏨 Spring Reign — Lodging

Families are on their own for lodging if you'd like to stay up in the Burlington/Bellingham area. A couple of resources:

• Hotels and Airbnbs in the Burlington/Bellingham area are also a great option

🚗 Spring Reign — Carpooling

We know players and families will want to coordinate rides. We'll be getting a carpooling system set up soon — one way or another, we'll make sure every activated player who wants to be there can get there. Stay tuned!

🏆 Spring Reign — Division

We've received some questions about what division we'll be in — this is still TBD. Our standing in the spring B division and the grade/experience makeup of our team will be used to hopefully place us in the right spot.
