👀 Game 6 Recap
Lots of great effort last Saturday. It was encouraging to see us play a stronger second half and not let the warm weather and sun hold us down. We like the way we walked away positive despite the score. And we get a chance to make more adjustments; we're rematching the same opponent this Saturday for playoffs!

🏆 Playoffs
A few general notes:
We get three playoff games over two Saturdays. Which Saturday we get two games depends on how our first game this Saturday goes (see below).
❗Downtown traffic will be bad and parking may be difficult. Families should plan to leave West Seattle with enough time to have their player out of the car ~10 minutes before warmups.
Please keep your availability updated in the Player Portal for both Saturday dates so we can plan!

Win Round 1a and Round 1b → Play at Garfield at 3:15 PM
Win Round 1a, lose Round 1b → Play at Magnuson at 2:00 PM
Lose Round 1a → Play 2 games Magnuson a 4:00 and 5:30 PM
🎉 End of Season Party — Friday, 5/15
We're planning our end of season party for Friday, 5/15 after school at Alki Playfield. Players will meet Coach Steve at the front entrance of Madison (bus entrance) at 3:53 PM and walk down to Alki together. We'll play games, sign discs, and have snacks. More details to come next week!
Oni's dad, Hanns-Peter, has agreed to ring-lead the organizing (thank you!). If you're able to help with the party (e.g., extra adult hands, provide goodies), please let us know - we'd love the extra hands!

May 20 — UW Big Bang MS Clinic at Montlake for some after school fun
May 29 — MS Clinic for Queer, Trans, Nonbinary, Gender Nonconforming (TNBGNC) Youth and Allies, 6:00–8:00 PM in North Seattle, led by a local club team. Reach out to [email protected] for more info.
May 30 — Gx Middle School Hat Tournament at Foster Stadium in Tukwila, before the Gx HS State finals.
